First Things First,
Do you know that we have gotten 23" of snow over that last several days???
It's a skier/boarder/hiker/snowmobiling paradise up here with beauty and powder galore! Hungry for snow? Wait no longer, my friend.
Back to the original kind of hunger that I wanted to write about -- guests at the Inn at Water's Edge are treated to a scrumptious breakfast each morning which, if history repeats itself, will keep you fueled for several hours into the day. Because we are a small staff, we are currently not serving dinners, but you will always find some treats in the Gathering Space and signature cocktails, beer and wine at the Pub in the afternoons/evenings.
We are happy to say that we have some "great eats" in and around town, and being neighborly, we'll suggest some here for your viewing pleasure. Please forgive me if the hours have changed at any of the restaurants listed below -- it is always a good idea to call for reservations/availability.
Restaurants in and around Ludlow, VT (though not an exhaustive list):

A little further (20-30 minutes away):

Copper Fox in Springfield . Open Wed. – Sun.
Back Room in Pittsfield. Open Fri. – Sat.
We think the best pizza is Goodman’s American Pie , but that is definitely a matter of personal preference. Open every day.
Mildred's Dairy Bar is a great spot for lunch (if you aren't counting calories) in Weston right beside the original Vermont Country Store.
Green Mountain Sugar House is the place to go for a VT Maple Creemee. If you don't know what that is, you are in for a real treat. This place has souvenirs, old-fashioned candies and maple syrup as well. Worth a stop and VERY close to the Inn.
Hope this helps with your plans. Can't wait to see you at the Inn.
