On June 15th, we began to accept guests to our totally renovated Inn on Echo Lake. Though some things have been modified in compliance with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, we assure you that we are ready and eager to welcome you.
Some things that you should know about lodging in Vermont include:
1. Lodging establishments are now allowed to host to 50% capacity.
2. If you reserve a room with us and are outside of New England counties that have less than 400
active cases per million, you will be asked to fill out a form which states that you've met the
guidelines for traveling to our state. You will receive an email with those links once you book.
3. We will seat you apart from other guests in our dining room for breakfast, and you'll see us busily
disinfecting tables and chairs as guests depart.
We are committed to prioritizing your well-being and that of our employees.
As some of you know, we've been working over the past six months to lovingly restore, renovate and reenergive spaces that, though lovely, needed a boost after twenty years. The most dramatic change is in the lobby. We took an area that felt dark and tunnel-like and created an entry full of light by taking out walls, ceilings and windows, adding wainscoting to the remaining walls, shiplap and wood beams to the newly vaulted ceiling, and lighting that emphasizes the spacious feeling. Our hope is that you feel enveloped by warmth when you enter. Walls were also removed in our gathering room, giving it a more open concept. We added a large table and a kitchenette with microwave and small refrigerator for public use and a brand new custom tiled public bathroom. All of our bedrooms have new flooring and decor, and our bathrooms were gutted with new custom showers, vanities, tiled floors, fans and fixtures added. We think you'll be pleased.
We recently invited Carley Page Summers to photograph our space, so you'll be seeing the website updated soon with her professional photographs. Below is your sneak peak! Can't wait to share more with you!
